and they were girlfriends

of binary systems of gender
and marketed multivitamins
so laika decided to leave it behind
and go somewhere new

it's a moon colony, but

'cause that's not what dogs would do
really it's just
a big old dog park on the moon
take your dog family on vacation there
spend the winter there with your dog partner
you can do anything, really
it's got tons of facilities
lots of restaurant
really good rating on delp (that's dog yelp)
and also, by the way,
i just want to clarify
that the dogs aren't on the moon because that's the limit of where they can go
that's not like
it's not a weak little moon base, no
it's just that they like it there!
they like the climate, they like the view
and the big blue marble is there
familiar
but not too close
it's nice for the scenery sometimes,
good if you wanna take postcard pictures
but you're not stuck there!
and if you turn, you can see galaxies and comets and
all kinds of invisible radio waves
happenin' all the time
and all kinds a gases, and colors, and
it's really great!
